The Choir
The choir has its roots in the Cantors of Exeter University, conducted by David Allinson while researching his PhD,
1994-1998
Almost the whole present day line-up are Exeter graduates from that time.
Most members of Cantores have sung together since University days. It is this background of friendship and the consistency of our line up which makes our sound very distinctive.
Over the years since leaving university behind we have built a strong reputation for passionate, emotionally engaging singing.
